The mission of the Environmental Working Group (EWG) is to use the power of public information to protect public health and the environment.  EWG specializes in providing useful resources to consumers while simultaneously pushing for national policy change.  This is a great organization that has loads of information on the various chemicals we should be wary of and their potential hazardous effects. Campaign for Safe Cosmetics

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is a coalition effort launched to protect the health of consumers by securing the reforms necessary to eliminate dangerous chemicals from personal care products.  They are a great resource for information about chemicals in products and their potential hazardous effects.
